Privacy Policy · Effective August 1, 2026

We keep it simple.
Here's exactly what we collect.

Plain language. No legal fog. If you have a question this doesn't answer, email us — we'll reply like a human.

01

Who this covers

This policy applies to Taiga (operated by Taiga Gamell, Missoula, Montana) and the website at taigalocal.com. It covers what information we collect when you visit the site, book a call, pay a deposit, or become a client.

Questions or requests: taiga.gamell@gmail.com

02

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name and email address — when you book a free audit via Google Calendar or reach out by email.
  • Business information — when you complete the client intake questionnaire (business name, address, services, goals). This is only collected from clients who have already signed an agreement.
  • Payment information — when you pay a deposit or retainer invoice via Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe handles all payment processing and is PCI-DSS compliant.

Information collected automatically:

  • Analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, general location (city/country), and device type. Collected via Google Analytics. No personally identifiable information is attached to these records.
  • Cookies — small text files stored in your browser. See section 06 below.
03

How we use it

  • To schedule and run your free audit call
  • To deliver the Rebuild and monthly retainer you paid for
  • To send invoices and receipts
  • To respond to questions and requests you send us
  • To understand how people use the site and improve it (analytics only)

We don't sell your information. We don't rent it. We don't send marketing emails to people who haven't asked to hear from us.

04

Third-party services we use

These services may receive some of your information in order to function. Each has its own privacy policy.

Stripe
Processes all payments. Stripe receives your name, email, and payment details. We receive a confirmation and receipt only — card numbers never touch our systems.

How long we keep it

  • Audit booking data (name, email from calendar) — kept until you ask us to delete it, or until it's clear the contact won't become a client.
  • Client project files and intake data — retained for 3 years after the project ends, then deleted. You may request deletion earlier.
  • Payment records — kept for 7 years as required for US tax purposes. Stripe retains its own records independently.
  • Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months). No personally identifiable data is stored.
06

Cookies

This site uses cookies in two ways:

  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to track anonymous usage patterns. These do not identify you personally.
  • Essential cookies — if any forms or payment flows are used, session cookies may be set to make them work. These expire when you close your browser.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking analytics cookies won't affect any functionality on this site.

07

Your rights

Regardless of where you're located, you can ask us to do any of the following at any time:

Access
Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
Correction
Ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion
Ask us to delete your data. We'll comply where we're not legally required to retain it.
Opt-out
Unsubscribe from any emails or ask us to stop contacting you. One email, done.

California residents: under CCPA, you have the right to know what data is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale. We don't sell data, full stop.

08

Questions or requests

If you want to exercise any of the rights above, have a question this page doesn't answer, or just want to know something specific — email us. We reply personally.
